I don't know about y'all, but I love a hearty salad. Forget the iceberg or even the romaine...the first ingredient here is kale. Get a bag of chopped, pre-washed and you'll have salads all week.
2 handfuls of kale 1/2 an apple, cut into chunks 1 tbs chopped walnuts top with shredded cheddar, drizzle of olive oil, drizzle of lemon juice
Toss in some left over grilled chicken, steak or sausage to add protein!
